Collection: Maheswari

“Mahi”

Maheswari silks are named after Maheshwar which is an ancient town in Madhya Pradesh. These sarees are handwoven with a technique from the 5th century. These were worn by the women in court and gifted to royal people. Truly timeless in appeal, the silk cotton weave is distinguished by their brocade and zari/thread work.
